They lower the car by 60mm at the front, in good condition. Shocks alone cost 180 when bought new from the pi website! Check out the website ! Front shocks and springs only. If you have lowered you car and the front springs are too lose because of the standard shocks then you will fail mot ! These here have pase mot and are a good tight fit ! If your astra is lowered on springs only with original shocks more than likely they will fail mot for not being a tight fit and having a we rattle sound as i found out the hard way by lowering it with just springs only and it failing mot for the front shocks being too lose ! These pi shocks are shortned an fit the springs well and specificly made for the astra mk4 hatchback (1998-2004) and give a tight fit as well as good handling round corners etc when driving .
